EllieMae

EllieMae did not come with much history but it appears she may have had an issue with her spine.  Her legs are a little wonky (we call her CrazyLegs) but it does not affect her ability to walk or run.  She currently lives with multiple little dogs and does fine with them all, she just gets worked up when food is present and some toys.

Dexter & Lily

Dexter and Lily are an adorable bonded pair of 11-year-old small dogs (13 lbs each) who were surrendered by their previous owner. Dexter is a sweet, affectionate "velcro" dog who loves being near people, while Lily is more independent but still loving. Both are spayed/neutered and have smooth, short coats (brown and red). They are very well-behaved, non-destructive, and quiet, though Dexter may bark at birds or visitors at the door.

They are good on a leash, enjoy slow sniff walks, and sleep in their foster's bed. They are making good progress with potty training and will use pads if available. They are crate-trained and do fine when crated together if left alone. They are not toy or food aggressive, and Dexter is the more dominant of the two.

Both dogs recently had dental work, so they are now on soft food. They are treat-motivated and respond well to positive reinforcement. They haven’t been observed around children, other dogs, or cats (though they did chase a cat in the yard). They are not big fans of the vet after their dental procedures but settle down once in the exam room.

Overall, Dexter and Lily are sweet, loving companions who prefer people over other animals and would thrive in a calm, caring home.
