Hi There! My name is Schultz.  I'm a happy, calm, extremely well behaved buddy.  I eat all my food.  I go outside to potty.  I love sitting in laps and getting cuddled.  I do not lick. I love going for walks.   I am the perfect house buddy.  I try to be very very good.  I was very sick when my foster Mom came and got me. I did not even go home with her right away.  I had to stay with the vet for 12 days.  He did not look very happy when he came to see me.  But I surpised everyone and got better.

I don't have many teeth so my Mom soaks my dry dog food in water and just keeps it in the fridge.  She says it's easy. I can still catch lizards.  I need to have eye drops 2 times a day.  I don't mind so I don't even wiggle.  I also get thyroid medicine but Dad just puts it in my food and I gobble it up.  I have a soft spot in my mouth like a babies soft spot so I'm not allowed to chew bones or anything hard but it doesn't bother me.  I love to get brushed.

When I first came here I didn't have much hair at all but now I'm growing a beautiful coat.  I'm not bragging I'm just so happy how my life has turned out.  I'm about 10 years young and there's a lot of life left in me.  I'm interested in the cat that lives here but I don't chase her.  I'm just nosey.  I am a 15 pound, red and black,long hair boy.  My Dad thinks I'm very special and he will be very sad when I find my forever home.  I think I would like calm home with a Mom and Dad who likes to go for walks and likes to have a best buddy sitting on their lap.
