HI!!! My name is Freckles! I just came to this foster home a couple days
ago & boy is it fun!! SOOOO much better than that yucky place I was at with
only cement floors and tons of other dogs barking ALL the time. A guy just
couldn't get any rest there, not that I need any!!! Here I have a comfy bed,
toys, really good food and 7 other dogs to PLAY with---foster mom says I
sometimes pester them, doesn't that mean PLAY???!!! They are just old
fuddyduddys and get tired too quickly, but there is a pretty girl named Rosey
that's my age too and we really like to PLAY together!!
My foster mom is really nice and cuddles with me and gives me lots of
kisses---I give her lots of kisses back!! She laughs at me and calls me funny
names like a "little pistol", "firecracker", "feisty", "spunky" and a
"whippersnapper"!! I really don't care what she calls me as long as she's
laughing and not yelling!! I just like to have fun!!! I like to go outside to
play and love to go on walks but I hate going into a crate----it makes me cry!!
I really like to sleep in bed with my foster mom & dad, it's nice & cozy in
there!
Foster mom said to tell you that I go outside to go potty, just got all my
shots and was neutered----THAT was NOT fun!! I also went to a doggy eye doctor
and she checked my beautiful baby blues. She said I had NO vision out of my
right eye (duh! I could have told her that!) due to a detached retina. My left
eye is just fine and I do perfectly well with it!! I've been like this my whole
life and she said I most likely will be fine for the rest of my life, but my
new owners just need to be aware and watch for any kind of change. OK, now I
really hope that didn't scare you away because I want to go to a new home that
will love me just the way I am----which is AWESOME!!!!
OK, before I go back to playing, here's my list of things I want in my new
home: at least one other dog that likes to PLAY, a fenced in yard to PLAY in,
really nice owners that will cuddle and give me kisses and be VERY patient with
me----I promise to try to be good and I WILL make you LAUGH! BYE---HOPE TO SEE
