Cloe

Cloe’s story is one of overcoming adversity. She was abused physically and emotionally. When we picked her up she was covered with fleas, patches of hair missing and not friendly at all. The person who rescued her said that she had been beaten with a hairbrush and dropped in the woods. She had a ruptured eardrum. She had an irregular heartbeat and high liver enzymes. The eardrum has healed. The irregular heartbeat was corrected by thyroid medication. And the liver enzymes are being monitored. The best part is that now she is playing with us and sleeping with us. She loves to sit on our laps in the evening watching tv. And her most favorite thing is going for walks. Her little tail goes up and she just prances down the street. She now gives puppy kisses. This is an incredible turn around since we took her in. Cloe is about 2yrs old. Shots are UTD. She is heartworm neg and on prevention. She is a long hair. Cloe would do well in a home without children. She is ok with cats you just need to remind her not to chase them. She has been through a lot and she deserves a home where she is the only dog. She lost a lot of people time and needs it made up. She will potty outside but you need to be consistent in taking her out. I think she was trained on paper indoors. She is a smart little thing and learns very quickly. If you are her special person could you visit her in her foster home a few times before taking her home forever? Her Foster home is in the Ft.
