My name is Allie because I am originally from Alabama, where I was found
living in a tree stump after being abused and abandoned. My coat is healthy and
beautiful but does have some scars from a bad case of the mange. Until now, I
had a real tough life. I have been with my foster parents for over a year now
and it was going to be my forever home, but I can’t stay because I don’t get
along with the Yorkie that lives with us and she has been here for 10 years.
There are two other Doxies in the house who are my good friends, so I do get
along with other dogs, just not real little ones. I love everyone, including
children. I am high energy and love to play with kids and my toys, but would do
fine in a home without kids too. I am lovable and affectionate. My only issues
are that I piddle when I get real excited and love to chew things, but I am
working on being better. I have learned to walk on a leash but probably would
LOVE a fenced in yard to run and play. My foster parents are heart-broken, but
we have no choice. Please consider me, I won’t let you down. Love and kisses,
